Adam has been a hairdresser for roughly fifteen years and is considered one of the top hairdressers in Vancouver. Adam attended AXIS school of hair styling where he acquired the basic skills needed to work in the industry. Being as ambitious as Adam is, he decided to return to school to acquire a new set of skills. Adam attended two of the best schools in the world; Vidal Sassoon in London and Graham Webb in New York. In London, Adam completed a specialized program focusing on hair colouring which quickly became his passion and helped to make him one of Vancouver's best. As well as being known for his impeccable work, Adam is also known for his positive outlook on life and his sharp sense of humor. Combining these skills has helped to Adam to turn clients into friends and launch him to the forefront of Vancouver's highly competitive hair styling industry.

Trained by fourth generation master barber, Perry Gastis, Adam is bringing old school barbering back with a remodeled take for today's quality man.

Adam finds himself passionate about his hometown hockey team, the Edmonton Oilers, house music and Alberta beef. His youthful and easy going approach makes for a comfortable and relaxing experience during his straight blade shaves.

When it comes to artistic endeavors, Jessica can do it all. She has proven this by, in fact doing it all. With an early start at 15 years old, Jessica quickly honed her craft and participated in hairstylist competitions throughout Canada and Europe. After winning numerous awards, including BC Championship (3 times) and being named 1992 Hairdresser Of The Year, Jessica triumphantly opened Stratosphere Salon in 1993.

Jessica's title "Artistic Entrepreneur" covers the many creative ventures she is involved in. These include educator for Kevin.Murphy, photographer, and music recording artist. With all these accomplishments you'll begin to understand the kind of creative atmosphere that Jessica embodies and promotes at Stratosphere. Involved in fashion on both sides of the lens, she consistently keeps herself abreast of current trends and events. With her eye for style and a nearly scientific understanding of the fundamentals of hairdressing, Jessica develops an individual approach that suit each client to their lifestyle.

Jessika comes to us from Sunny Southern California with over 10 years of high profile industry experience. Once her formal education was completed, she wasted no time in trying to get to the top of this highly competitive field. Jessika got her start as a junior training in one of L.A.'s well known salons in Venice Beach, where professional standards were a must, due to it's celebrity clientele. Luckily for us, after honing her craft to specialize in cuts, color, makeup and extensions for the first four years of her career, life moved her here to Beautiful British Columbia.

For the last 6 years this wild redhead has made Vancouver her home. During this time Jessika has continued her pursuit to be at the top of this industry. Working on movie sets as the Key Hair/Makeup, to providing complete bridal packages, Jessika has an encompassing knowledge of many aspects as a stylist. She has also become an associate of Infinity Sun Ltd., which is the highest quality all natural Spray Tan product on the market. This is the same company that has the hit reality show on MTV called "Sunset Tan". Jessika is also an educator and technician for Nuskin Ltd., which is the developer of the ten minute face lift that is the newest craze in HollyWood. This stylist has also become a Color Master and has furthered her education with Wella, Redkin and Loreal Professionnel. Just recently she won the B.C. finals for Loreal's Color Trophy, and has now been invited to compete in their national competition in Montreal. Good Luck Jess!

Matt believes that the right decisions for your hair comes from the right questions and listening. This gives an understanding of what a person is like and what image they want to project. With 18 years of cutting and coloring hair, comes an instinctual sense of how design and color work together. In addition to his salon work, Matt has had his work published in several hair journals, taught at John Casablancas, and been involved in numerous fashion shows. While in spending time in Matt's chair you will find he is quite the conversationalist to add to the whole experience.

Trevor is a confident and fashion forward stylist and makeup artist that has taken on the title of Creative Director of the salon. His 23 years of experience and knowledge are frequently used as guidance for the ‘up and coming' stylists, as he is dedicated to the ongoing education at Stratosphere. He believes that it is essential that a stylist be an example of style, a well rounded artist, and a source of entertainment. His involvement in the industry has led to many things including being a salon owner, stage artist and educator, a fierce competitor, and has owned the title of ‘Canadian Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year', among others. As a freelance agent, he has worked on many projects outside of the hairdressing industry including CD cover shoots, music videos, editorial layouts, major advertising campaigns, and television. Painting and photography on an amateur level keep him creatively occupied otherwise.
